Archivist | Executive Director | Researcher
As an independent consultant specializing in negatives and archival management, my journey to archival work has been unconventional. I began my career in the film industry. I spent over two decades in the set decoration department, overseeing "collections" for major studios such as Sony, Amazon, Disney, and Netflix. This unique experience laid the foundation for my current role as the executive director of the Okanagan Archive Trust Society, a non-profit organization. In addition to leading the society, I am an archival project manager responsible for relocating our local museum's archives to a new location. I serve on their board of directors.
My partner and I reside in a quaint community in the picturesque Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. We enjoy gardening, camping, and birdwatching.
For donations to the Okanagan Archive Trust Society or research inquiries, please email or phone me. We are always looking for historical film reels, negatives, and glass plates and the stories behind them.
